In a recent response to investor inquiries about production adjustments at PT QMB New Energy Materials Co. Ltd., GEM stated that GEM has established the world's largest recycling industrial base for key metals including nickel, cobalt, and tungsten. Its annual recycled cobalt resources exceed 350% of China's primary cobalt mining output, while its recycled nickel resources account for 20% of China's primary nickel mining output, and recycled tungsten resources represent 10% of China's primary tungsten mining output.
In the first three quarters of 2025, the company produced 6,534 metric tonnes of cobalt metal from its nickel resource projects (including equity-based capacity), recycled over 6,000 metric tonnes of cobalt, shipped more than 120,000 metric tonnes of nickel-cobalt precursors, delivered over 17,000 metric tonnes of cathode materials, and supplied 5,590 metric tonnes of recycled tungsten resources (calculated as tungsten carbide). GEM emphasized that all of its operations continue to run normally.
