NBS: China industrial firms' Jan-Nov profits recovery slows

Sizable Chinese industrial enterprises posted a total gross profit of Yuan 6.63 trillion ($945.3 billion) for the first eleven months of 2025, marking a minimal 0.1% increase from the same period last year, according to the latest data released by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on December 27.

The tiny on-year improvement reflected the fact that gross profits earned by these industrial firms last month was lower by a large 13.1% compared with November last year.
