As of January 6, 2026, 14 major automakers have released their full-year 2025 sales data for electric vehicles, according to incomplete statistics from Mysteel. Among them, BYD, Geely Auto, and SAIC Group ranked in the top three, with annual sales of 4.6024 million, 1.6878 million, and 1.6428 million vehicles, respectively.
In terms of year-on-year sales growth, 12 automakers achieved positive growth, with XPeng recording the largest increase at 125.94%, followed by Leapmotor with growth of 103.10%.
