Boliden recently released its production report for the fourth quarter of 2025, showing the nickel matte production totaled 9,116 tonnes in nickel content. This represents a decrease of 5.75% compared to the previous quarter and a decline of 22.19% year-on-year. Nickel in concentrate production amounted to 2,525 tonnes, down 22.00% quarter-on-quarter and 11.37% year-on-year.
The decrease in nickel matte production at the Harjavalta site, compared to both the previous quarter and Q4 2024, was primarily due to a disruption in the production process.
