According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, China's production of solar cells (photovoltaic cells) reached 71.621 million kilowatts in March 2026, representing a year-on-year decrease of 20.6%. In Q1 2026, the cumulative output totaled 172.903 million kilowatts, a year-on-year decrease of 12.4%.
