NBS: China's Q1 output of copper semis posts steady YoY growth

China's production of copper semi-finished products and refined copper (electrolytic copper) recorded steady year-on-year growth in the January-March quarter of 2026, new data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) show.

Total output of copper semis reached 5.63 million tonnes in the three months, up 4% from the same period last year.
