NBS: Crude steel output in China's key steel hubs falls 4% YoY in Q1

Crude steel production among China's top 10 steelmaking provinces and autonomous regions declined by 3.9% on year to 181.31 million tonnes during the first three months of this year, according to the latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) published on April 21.

The decline was smaller than the 4.6% fall in China's total crude steel output during January-March to 247.55 million tonnes, as Mysteel Global has reported.
