Poland's coal output falls 6% YoY in Q1

Poland's output of coal for all uses totalled 21.04 million tonnes in the first quarter of this year, lower by 6.1% from the same period last year, according to new data from the Central Statistical Office of Poland (CSOP).
By type, output of hard coal and lignite reached 10.68 million tonnes and 10.36 million tonnes over the three months, down 5% and 7.3% on year respectively.   Chiefly responsible for the Q1 decline overall were the weak performances in January and February when Poland's coal production dropped 10.8% and 10.9%
