On May 13, Hanrui Cobalt stated during an earnings call that its expansion into nickel is aimed at building a diversified "cobalt-copper-nickel" development pattern and strengthening resource security in the new energy battery materials sector.
Nickel is a key raw material for power batteries. Through its high-grade nickel matte project in Indonesia, the company will further enhance its nickel resource footprint and raise its position in the new energy vehicle supply chain.
Moving forward, Hanrui will gradually increase the revenue contribution of its nickel business based on project commissioning progress and market conditions, achieving synergistic development across multiple metals.
