Taiwan's stainless steel imports drop in April from March high

Taiwan's stainless steel imports declined in April from the multi-month high recorded in March, though shipments from the Chinese mainland posted a noticeable on-month increase, Taiwan Customs data showed.

Taiwan's imports of stainless products reached around 118,900 tonnes last month, down 6,000 tonnes or 4.8% from March and lower by a significant 23,100 tonnes or 16.3% year on year, the data indicate.
