China's export volume of ternary precursors in April 2026 was 2,662 tonnes, a decrease of 10,209 tonnes from the previous month, or a decline of 79.3%, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China. Meanwhile, it decreased by 2,269 tonnes, representing a drop of 46.0%, compared with the same month last year. Among them, exports of nickel-cobalt-manganese hydroxide (NCM precursor) stood at 2,662 tonnes.
During the January-April 2026 period, China's cumulative exports of ternary precursors reached 27,391 tonnes, a year-on-year increase of 24.9%.
