On May 26, Tinci Materials announced that its subsidiary, Taizhou Tinci, plans to carry out preliminary work for a project with an annual production capacity of 160,000 tonnes of high-compaction-density lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode material. The total estimated investment is no more than Yuan 2.1 billion. The project is located in Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, and aims to strengthen the strategic layout of lithium-ion battery materials, forming a comprehensive competitive advantage in both iron phosphate and LFP cathode materials.
