On June 8, the Management Committee of Fuding Industrial Park issued the first public notice regarding the environmental impact assessment for a production expansion and renovation project with an annual capacity of 250,000 tonnes of electrolyte.
According to the announcement, the project developer is Fuding Kaixin Battery Materials Co., Ltd., located in Long'an Industrial Park, Fuding City. The existing plant covers an area of 46,531.61 square metres. This expansion project plans to acquire additional land to build new electrolyte production lines.
The company currently has an electrolyte production capacity of 100,000 tonnes per year for lithium-ion batteries. For this expansion, the company plans to invest Yuan 587.96 million. The project includes the construction of new electrolyte batching workshops, electrolyte warehouses, loading/unloading areas, tank farms, barrel washing workshops, new barrel storage sheds, and utility facilities. Equipment to be installed includes batching kettles, storage tanks, chillers, pumps, and other machinery. The goal is to build an internationally advanced electrolyte production line, adding a new annual production capacity of 250,000 tonnes of electrolyte.
