Recently, phase one of the lithium-ion battery high-end nano silicon-carbon anode and porous carbon integrated project, developed by Inner Mongolia Tianmu Pioneer Battery Materials Co., Ltd., commenced construction at the Jungar Economic Development Zone in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia.
The project is wholly funded and constructed by Liyang Tianmu Pioneer Battery Materials Co., Ltd. Phase one represents an investment of Yuan 2 billion. It is planned to have an annual production capacity of 20,000 tonnes of silicon-carbon anode material, supported by 10,000 tonnes of porous carbon.
The project is scheduled to enter trial production in September 2027 and reach full completion and commercial operation by the end of 2028. Once fully operational, the project is expected to generate annual sales revenue of Yuan 4–5 billion.
