UK proposes extending the AD measures on Chinese wire rods to 2031

The UK’s Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) has recommended that the anti-dumping (AD) measures currently applied to imports of wire rods originating from China remain in place for another five years, according to a TRA release published on June 16.

Specifically, the authority proposed keeping the current duty rates on the product unchanged at 7.9% for the Hunan Valin Iron and Steel Group, and at 24% for all other exporters from China, the release showed.
