NEA: China's power capacity reaches 4.04 bln kW at end-June

China's total installed power generation capacity reached 4.04 billion kilowatts (kW) by the end of June, up 10.8% year on year, the National Energy Administration (NEA) said July 22.
The figure marks a further step up from end-May, when capacity first crossed the 4-billion-kW threshold at 4.01 billion kW when roughly 35 million kW was added in a single month, as reported.   Solar and wind continued to drive the expansion in June. Solar capacity stood at 1.27 billion kW,
