Glencore's coal output drops 5% YoY in H1 '26

Anglo-Swiss mining conglomerate Glencore plc posted a 5% drop in its coal production in the first half of 2026 compared with the corresponding period last year, with both its coking and thermal coal sectors contributing to the decrease, according to the company's half-year report published on July 29.
