According to Mysteel statistics, as of October 9, 13 automakers had released their EV sales data in September 2026. Overall, during the Golden September sales period, most automakers achieved month-on-month (MoM) and year-on-year (YoY) growth in monthly sales.
In terms of monthly sales, BYD, SAIC Motor, and Geely Automobile ranked in the top three, with sales of 463,600, 225,000, and 190,900 vehicles, respectively. In terms of MoM growth for the month, 12 automakers achieved growth, with BAIC Bluepark posting a relatively notable increase. In terms of YoY growth for the month, 8 automakers achieved growth, among which Leapmotor recorded the largest increase at 58.51%.
In terms of cumulative performance, seven companies achieved YoY growth, with Leapmotor and NIO Inc. standing out in terms of growth. As of press time, GAC Group had still not released its September production and sales bulletin.
