WEEKLY: Aust., Brazilian iron ore shipments retreat 4% WoW

The total volume of iron ore dispatched to global destinations from the 20 ports and 17 mining companies in Australia and Brazil under Mysteel's regular tracking retreated again to reach 25.6 million tonnes during December 1-7, lower by 1.1 million tonnes or 4% on week. A significant drop in Brazil's ore shipments was to blame for the decline overall, the survey showed.
