DAILY: China import iron ore prices, sales both decline

Imported Iron Ore Price Trading
Chinese prices for imported iron ore for port stocks and seaborne cargoes both trended lower on June 17, and trading activity in the two markets also slowed.
On Wednesday, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao was assessed at Yuan 713/wmt ($105.5/wmt) FOT including the 13% VAT, down Yuan 15/wmt from the previous day. The same day, Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines also slid $1.95/dmt on day to $100.7/dmt CFR Qingdao, the lowest level since March.   Derivative
