On September 17, the market price of electrolytic cobalt increased Yuan 3,000/tonne to Yuan 281,591-284,091/tonne. In addition, the market prices of cobalt chloride and cobalt sulfate both declined Yuan 1,000/tonne to Yuan 77,000-79,000/tonne and 62,000/t-64,000/tonne respectively.Yesterday, the cobalt chloride and cobalt sulfate markets continued their weak performance, with prices shifting further downward and overall trading activity remaining subdued.The cobalt chloride market exhibited a "price without market" pattern, quotations were present but actual transactions were scarce. Although producers loosened their offers to some extent, downstream purchasing interest remained extremely low. Few deals were concluded, and trading activity was largely confined to quotation inquiries.On the cobalt sulfate side, demand remained persistently weak, with downstream buyers purchasing only on a rigid-need, small-lot basis.
