On September 23, SEMCORP announced that its controlling subsidiary, Shanghai Enjie, will establish a new subsidiary in Malaysia to invest in the construction of lithium-ion battery separator projects. The planned production capacity is about 1 billion square meters per year, and the total investment of the project is expected to be about Yuan 2 billion. This will be the third overseas production base of SEMCORP.
