FLASH: Another battery base of BYD starts construction

According to the latest news on February 18th, the major project opening (completion) ceremony for the first quarter of 2025 in Qingxiu District, Nanning City was held at the Lingli Industrial Park in Qingxiu District. As the core highlight of this activity, Guangxi FinDreams Battery Module Three Project was officially launched.

According to the news, the project is invested and constructed by BYD, with a planned area of 380 mu. It will build modern battery production plants and supporting infrastructure, focusing on two power battery production lines. After the project is completed, it can increase the annual production capacity by about 7 GWh, and the products will be widely used in fields such as electric vehicles, further consolidating BYD's leading position in the field of power batteries. The implementation of this project will not only optimize BYD's production capacity layout in southern China, but also help Nanning city seize the commanding heights of the new energy industry.

It is reported that on April 29, 2022, Guangxi FinDreams Battery acquired 1301 acres of land in Lingli Industrial Park as the first phase of BYD's 45 GWh annual power battery project. The total investment of the entire project is Yuan 14 billion, and it has been put into operation in May 2023.
