In October, the production and sales of electric vehicles (EVs) reached 1.772 million and 1.715 million units respectively, representing year-on-year growth of 21.1% and 20%. The sales of EVs accounted for 51.6% of the total new vehicle sales during the month.
From January to October, the cumulative production and sales of EVs reached 13.015 million and 12.943 million units respectively, with growth of 33.1% and 32.7% YoY. The sales of EVs accounted for 46.7% of the total new vehicle sales during this period.
