Production:
In October, China's total production of power and other batteries reached 170.6 GWh, up 12.9% month-on-month and 50.5% year-on-year. From January to October, China's cumulative production of power and other batteries was 1,292.5 GWh, a cumulative increase of 51.3% YoY.
Sales:
In October, China's sales of power and other batteries were 166.0 GWh, up 13.3% MoM and 50.8% YoY. Among these, power battery sales were 124.3 GWh, accounting for 74.9% of the total sales, increasing 12.4% MoM and 56.6% YoY; Sales of other batteries were 41.7 GWh, accounting for 25.1% of the total sales, increasing 15.9% month-on-month and 35.7% year-on-year.
From January to October, the cumulative sales of power and other batteries in China were 1,233.2 GWh, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 55.1%. Among these, cumulative power battery sales were 910.3 GWh, accounting for 73.8% of the total sales, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 49.9%; And that of other batteries was 322.8 GWh, accounting for 26.2% of the total sales, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 71.9%.
Exports:
In October, China's total exports of power and other batteries were 28.2 GWh, up 5.5% month-on-month and 33.5% year-on-year. Total exports accounted for 17.0% of the sales volume for that month. Among these, power battery exports were 19.4 GWh, accounting for 68.8% of total exports, increasing 10.0% MoM and 76.7% YoY. And that of other batteries was 8.8 GWh, accounting for 31.2% of total exports, down 3.3% YoY and 13.2% YoY.
From January to October, China's cumulative exports of power and other batteries reached 228.1 GWh, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 43.9%. Total cumulative exports accounted for 18.5% of the cumulative sales volume in the first ten months. Among these, cumulative power battery exports were 148.5 GWh, accounting for 65.1% of total exports, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 37.2%. And cumulative exports of other batteries were 79.5 GWh, accounting for 34.9% of total exports, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 58.3%.
Installation Volume:
In October, the domestic installed volume of power batteries was 84.1 GWh, up 10.7% month-on-month and 42.1% year-on-year. Among these, the installed volume of ternary batteries was 16.5 GWh, accounting for 19.7% of the total installed volume, up 19.8% MoM and 35.8% YoY. Meanwhile, the installed volume of LFP batteries was 67.5 GWh, accounting for 80.3% of the total installed volume, up 8.6% month-on-month and 43.7% year-on-year.
From January to October, the cumulative installed volume of domestic power batteries was 578.0 GWh, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 42.4%. Among these, the cumulative installed volume of ternary batteries was 107.7 GWh, accounting for 18.6% of the total installed volume, a cumulative year-on-year decrease of 3.0%. The cumulative installed volume of LFP batteries was 470.2 GWh, accounting for 81.3% of the total installed volume, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 59.7%.
