On July 9, SEMCORP announced that it expects to report a net loss of Yuan 82.65 million to 107.35 million for the first half of 2025, compared with a net profit of Yuan 291.0274 million in the same period last year. The main reasons include declining gross margins for lithium-ion battery separators, temporary losses in certain business segments, short-term pressure on performance from overseas operating expenses, and inventory impairment provisions made under the prudence principle.
