Thailand's coal imports fall 16% on year in Oct

Thailand imported 1.4 million tonnes of coal in October, down 16% from a year earlier but 3.2% higher than in September, according to data from Thai Customs.
Thermal coal, including bituminous, sub-bituminous and lignite, made up almost all of the imports, while anthracite contributed only 6,061 tonnes and briquettes 528 tonnes, the data showed.     Over January-October, Thailand's coal imports reached 15.34 million tonnes, 2.1% lower on year.
