Thailand's coal imports fall 4.4% on year in Nov

Thailand imported 1.44 million tonnes of coal in November, lower by 4.4% from a year earlier but 3.2% higher than in October, according to the latest Thai Customs data.
Thermal coal, including bituminous, sub-bituminous and lignite, made up almost all the imports, while anthracite contributed only 6,317 tonnes and briquettes 792 tonnes, the Customs figures showed.     Last month's result meant that during the January-November period, Thailand's total coal imports reached 16.78 million tonnes, 2.3% lower on year.
