On December 29, the Commencement Ceremony for the 450,000-tonne-per-year New-Generation Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Project of Yichang Bangpu Era was successfully held.
The 450,000-ton new-generation LFP project is a strategic initiative by Brunp Recycling, marking its first deployment globally of the fourth-generation LFP technology. Progressing from signing in January and groundbreaking in February this year to successful commencement in December, the project set a new industry record for construction speed, taking less than one year to complete.
The project has established 3 production workshops and 6 production lines, with an annual capacity of 450,000 tonnes. It further extends Brunp Recycling's industrial chain in Yichang, creating an integrated, closed-loop system that connects phosphate mining-raw materials-precursors-cathode materials-battery recycling. This achieves full-chain integration in LFP production and effectively drives collaborative development across the upstream and downstream industrial chains. Additionally, the project implements comprehensive heat energy recovery and utilization and ensures full-process carbon footprint traceability.
