Mongolia's coal output tops 10 million tonnes for a 3rd month in Jan

Mongolia's production of coal for all uses reached 10.17 million tonnes in January, topping the 10-million-tonne threshold for the third consecutive month, according to new monthly data from Mongolia's National Statistical Office (NSO).
Although lower by 2.3% from the record high of 10.4 million tonnes recorded last December, January production jumped by about 56% from the year-ago level, Mysteel Global calculated based on the latest adjusted NSO readings.
