On April 23, the National Energy Administration released national power statistics for the January-March period.
As of the end of March, China's total installed power generation capacity reached 3.96 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 15.5%. Among this, installed solar power capacity stood at 1.24 billion kilowatts, up 31.3% YoY, while installed wind power capacity reached 660 million kilowatts, an increase of 22.4% YoY.
In Q1, the average annual utilization hours of power generation equipment across the country were 703 hours, 66 hours lower than the same period last year.
