Kuzbass's coal output in April marks first rise in 5 months

Production of all kinds of coal in Russia's Kuzbass region in southwestern Siberia reached 15.5 million tonnes in April, up 2.6% from March and marking the first monthly rise in the past five months, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Coal Industry of Kuzbass.

The lift in output followed improvements in coal exports from the region, Mysteel Global observed.
