China's exports of ternary cathode materials reached 13,940 tonnes in June 2026, representing a month-on-month decrease of 132 tonnes (or 0.9%) and a year-on-year increase of 3,211 tonnes (or 29.9%), according to data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC). Among these, exports of lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide (NCM-type) amounted to 13,873 tonnes, while lithium nickel cobalt aluminium oxide (NCA-type) exports stood at 66 tonnes.
For H1 2026, China's cumulative exports of ternary cathode materials totaled 83,014 tonnes, a year-on-year increase of 66.7%.
