Production:
In July, China power and other batteries totaled 133.8 GWh, with increases of 3.6% month on month and 44.3% year on year respectively. At the same time, China power and other batteries over January-July reached 831.1 GWh, with an increase of 57.5% YoY.
Sales:
In July, the sales of China power and other battery reached 127.2 GWh, dropping 3.2% MoM but rising 47.8 YoY. Among them, China power battery occupied 71.6% of total sales to 91.1 GWh, with a month-on-month decline of 3.1% but an increase of 45.8% YoY. The sales of other batteries were 36.1 GWh, accounting for 28.4%, a decrease of 3.4% compared to the previous period, and an increase of 52.9% year-on-year.
From January to July, China's cumulative sales of power and other batteries reached 786.2 GWh, representing a year-on-year increase of 60.6%. Specifically, power battery sales totaled 576.6 GWh, accounting for 73.3% of total sales, with a 50.6% year-on-year growth. Other battery sales amounted to 209.6 GWh, comprising 26.7% of total sales, showing a 96.2% year-on-year increase.
Installation:
In July, China's power battery installation reached 55.9 GWh, down 4.0% month-on-month but up 34.3% year-on-year. In detail, NCM battery installation totaled 10.9 GWh, accounting for 19.6% of total installations. This represented a 1.9% monthly increase but a 3.8% annual decrease. As for LFP battery, the installation amounted to 44.9 GWh, comprising 80.4% of total installations. This marked a 5.3% monthly decline but a significant 49.0% annual growth.
