Production:
In September, China's total production of power and other batteries reached 151.2 GWh, up 8.3% month-on-month and 35.4% year-on-year. From January to September, the cumulative production of power and other batteries in China was 1,121.9 GWh, representing a cumulative year-on-year increase of 51.4%.
Sales:
In September, China's sales of power and other batteries amounted to 146.5 GWh, increasing by 9.0% month-on-month and 42.2% year-on-year. Specifically, power battery sales were 110.5 GWh, accounting for 75.5% of total sales and growing by 11.8% MoM and 44.4% YoY; And that of other batteries were 36.0 GWh, accounting for 24.5% of total sales, up 1.0% month-on-month and 36.1% year-on-year.
From January to September, the cumulative sales of power and other batteries in China reached 1,067.2 GWh, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 55.8%. Among these, cumulative power battery sales were 786.0 GWh, accounting for 73.7% of total sales and showing a cumulative year-on-year growth of 48.9%; And that of other batteries were 281.1 GWh, accounting for 26.3% of total sales, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 78.9%.
Exports:
In September, China's exports of power and other batteries totaled 26.7 GWh, rising 18.2% month-on-month and 28.3% year-on-year. Combined exports accounted for 18.2% of the month's total sales. Specifically, power battery exports were 17.6 GWh, representing 66.0% of total exports, up 17.1% month-on-month and 50.9% year-on-year; And that of other batteries were 9.1 GWh, accounting for 34.0% of total exports, increasing 20.3% YoY but decreasing 0.5% YoY.
From January to September, China's cumulative exports of power and other batteries reached 199.9 GWh, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 45.5%. The cumulative exports accounted for 18.7% of the cumulative sales in the first nine months. Among these, cumulative power battery exports were 129.1 GWh, accounting for 64.6% of total exports and showing a cumulative year-on-year growth of 32.7%; And that of other batteries were 70.7 GWh, accounting for 35.4% of total exports, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 76.3%.
Installation Volume:
In September, the installation volume of power batteries in China was 76.0 GWh, up 21.6% month-on-month and 39.5% year-on-year. Among these, ternary battery installations were 13.8 GWh, accounting for 18.2% of the total and increasing 26.5% MoM and 5.2% YoY. LFP battery installations were 62.2 GWh, accounting for 81.8% of total installations, up 20.5% month-on-month and 50.4% year-on-year.
From January to September, the cumulative installation volume of power batteries was 493.9 GWh, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 42.5%. Among these, cumulative ternary battery installations were 91.2 GWh, accounting for 18.5% of total installations and showing a cumulative year-on-year decrease of 7.8%; And cumulative LFP battery installations were 402.6 GWh, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 62.7%.
